Hip Homeschool Hop 1/31/17 – 2/6/17

Welcome to the Hip Homeschool Hop!

Hip Homeschool Hop
Thank you for linking up with us on our Hip Homeschool Hop! We’re glad to have you. And if you’re here to take a look around and find some fun topics, good information, ideas, or support, we’re glad to have you too! But first we hope you’ll take a look at some of our team members’ favorite posts from last week’s Hop. Enjoy!

Dachelle, who blogs at Hide the Chocolate, chose 7 Tips for Parenting a Strong-Willed Child as one of her favorites from last week’s Hop. Her reason is, “As the mom of a strong-willed child, this post resonated with me. I know all these tips and they work, but in the day-to-day-survival I forget and react first.”

Dachelle‘s other favorite was this Free Homeschool Fun Calendar for February 2017. Why did she choose this one? “I also loved this post. February is a month that I am hitting the cabin-fever phase of homeschool. I don’t want to plan and the kids are burned out. I loved that Amy created a calendar with fun activities for each day in February and even included a supply list. Just what I needed!”

Trish, Hip Homeschool Moms’ co-owner, chose Antonio Gaudi Mosaics as her favorite. She said, ” I guess I have a soft spot for art posts. This one looks fun! We may just have to do that one this weekend!!

One of my favorites (Wendy, the other Hip Homeschool Moms co-owner) from last week was Are You Tired of Homeschooling in a Messy House? Many of us struggle with trying to keep the house clean, and this post shares some very do-able solutions to the problem.

Science experiments are always fun! This one explains How to Make Rain in a Jar. If you’re studying weather (or even if you’re not!) your children will enjoy this.

Guidelines for the hop:

  1. You can link up to 3 posts from your blog. Make sure you use the exact URL to the post.
  2. You can link up kid activities, homeschool related, or homemaking/recipe posts. Posts unrelated to these topics will be removed. (Please no product reviews or “marketing” posts unless they are homeschool related.)
  3. Please either include the Hip Homeschool Hop button (found at the bottom of the site) or a link back to Hip Homeschool Moms.
  4. The linky will go live each week at 6am EST, and will be live until Saturday at midnight.
