Heather with A Nurse’s Wildflowers shared a favorite this week! She enjoyed Essential Non-Academic Skills to Teach Our Children by Momma in Progress. Heather liked this post because it “lists a ton of essential “non-academic” skills our kids get to learn at home. Next time some one asks what your kids learn all day, show them this list! They will definitely be more prepared than others when they hit the real world.”
Wendy with Homeschooling Blessings enjoyed 7 Summer Break Tasks for the Homeschool Mom. She thought this post gave some very practical ideas for things to get done over the summer to make the next school year go easier.
Wendy also enjoyed this post, Summer Reading for My Rising 2nd Grade Boy, by Lextin Academy. (Many of the books would be equally enjoyed by girls too!) Book lists are always fun–especially as summer approaches since most children have extra time for reading over the summer.
