Our Favorites This Week:

Wendy, HHM co-owner and author of Homeschooling Blessings chose to feature The 4 Most Important Skills You Can Teach in Any Language shared by Homeschooling With Love.

Wendy said, “This was one of my favorite posts because it mentions the basics that every child needs to know as well as a few things some of us might not think about teaching our children–such as how to take notes.”

Trish, another of the lovely co-owners here at Hip Homeschool Momsappreciated ABC Creative Learning’s – Visiting Winston-Salem with the Family is a Must.

Trish shared, “I love this one! I’m from NC and have been to Winston Salem many times with my boys. There were things on the list that I did not even know to visit!”

Trish also wanted to feature Beth Baker’s – Make A Rhyme Box.

Trish said, “I think this rhyme box sounds so fun and engaging for children. I would add using a movable alphabet and use it to help with spelling (my Montessori side is showing again).”

Heidi from Starts at Eight liked Brain Power Boy’s – Best Books for Boys: Weather Books, Activities and Free Printable Weather Chart.

Heidi commented, “As the weather slowly starts to improve here in NY we begin thinking more about nature studies and activities. The FREE Printable Weather Chart will give direction to your children as they observe the weather outside their window.”
