Our Favorites from last week:

Did you see these posts last week? Here’s a few the HHM ladies loved: Jennifer of Royal Little Lambs is about to embark on a road trip from Utah to Georgia with her 4 kiddos and she loved Peace but not Quiet’s Free Printable Road Trip Journal Pages.

Heather from A Nurse’s Wildflowers said “There are so many good ones. It’s hard to choose! I have two that I think all mom’s will appreciate but hopefully all the working homeschool moms will look at these too because I think they fit perfectly!

Don’t Let Homeschool Curriculum Rule your Life is a post from Live Life with your Kids about not letting curriculum rule you – one thing that I’ve had to learn the hard way.

The other, When it’s Chaos-Week in Your Homeschool is an encouraging article from Kentucky Sketches about not letting chaotic days or weeks get to you. I’ve had one of those weeks for sure!”

Wendy from Homeschooling Blessings picked two favorites this week:

“As the weather gets warmer down here in the South, my children and I are ready for some spring time activities! This post, Montessori-Inspired Spring Themes and Activites from Living Montessori Now, has some wonderful ideas that will work for those who teach the Montessori way and even for those of us who don’t!”

As the mom of an autistic child, I really thought the post, Five Strategies That May Make Waiting Easier for Special Needs Kids from Faithful Mom of 9, was great! It has ideas specifically for autistic children when they have to wait–at a doctor’s office, for example. There are some really good resources suggested in the post as well.”

Trish from Live and Learn Farm enjoyed the Dance With Degas: How to Draw a Ballerina tutorial posted by Stephanie at Harrington Harmonies.

Trish said “I am not artistic at all, so I just love Stephanie’s art instructions! We love taking an artist and studying them and their art this way. I love trying to recreate their art. I can guarantee we will be trying this!!!”
