A great article from last week was Teach the Child You Have. It’s a great reminder to teach each of your children according to his or her strengths and weaknesses instead of expecting him/her to be like other children.

One of our favorite articles from last week’s Hop was What Homeschooling Really Looks Like in 2016. Thankfully more and more people are becoming familiar with homeschooling, and hopefully articles like this one will help inform those who aren’t yet familiar with it.

As the mother of teens, I was particularly interested in The One Book Every Teenager Should Read. It’s sad that the world expects teens to be rebellious and angry and disobedient. This article points out that these attitudes aren’t inevitable in our teens! I love that the article is from both the mom’s and the daughter’s points of view too!

Guidelines for the hop:

  1. You can link up to 3 posts from your blog. Make sure you use the exact URL to the post.
  2. You can link up kid activities, homeschool related, or homemaking/recipe posts. Posts unrelated to these topics will be removed. (Please no product reviews or “marketing” posts unless they are homeschool related.)
  3. Please either include the Hip Homeschool Hop button (found at the bottom of the site) or a link back to Hip Homeschool Moms.
  4. The linky will go live each week at 6am EST, and will be live until Saturday at midnight.
