How to Make Snow Cream

Have you ever made snow cream? You might call it snow ice cream. No matter what you call it, it’s super easy to make, and it’s really yummy!

Supplies needed:

Directions:

1. Gather 2 cups clean snow. Make sure it is not the first snow of the season and that it has not been stepped upon by humans or animals.

2. Mix 1 cup milk, 1/3 cup sugar, and 1 tsp vanilla in a bowl.

3. Pour the milk mixture over the snow. Stir and serve.

4. Enjoy!

  1. This sounds so yummy!
    My question, for those of us who are not around snow…why can it not be the first snow of the season? Does that mean you wait for a second layer of snow or that after the first melts the second snow is ok. Thank you in advance for answering those questions. We only get snow about once a decade…so I really just do not know. Just very curious. 🙂
