HHM Dec Round-up

Christmas Collage

Christmas is the most popular holiday in December. Some people focus on the gifts and family time, other focus more on Santa Claus and reindeer, and yet others focus on the story of Jesus’ birth.

Here are three lovely Christmas posts with a focus on the Nativity story:

Let’s Play Kids Music made a Born in a Stable (Simple Nativity Song).

The Life of Jennifer Dawn has a creative Advent Calendar Tutorial.

Housing a Forest shared their beautiful Stained Glass Nativity craft.

Here is a post by HHM’s very own Sarah Avila of My Joy-Filled Life. It’s a Printable Advent Activities Calendar. And since today is the first day of Advent, you still have time to do this!

I would love to share with you one more Christmas craft to make this year. It was very easy to make and it was very fun. The Natural Homeschool Christmas Tree Decorating Craft for Glass Doors or Windows.

Hanukkah Collage

Hanukkah is a Jewish holiday, which is the Festival of Lights. It lasts for eight days. The story behind it is fascinating, and we enjoy studying it in our homeschool, even though we aren’t Jewish.

Our Hanukkah choices are fun, educational, and full of creativity. Take a look!

Mom Endeavors has some Easy Hanukkah Crafts.

3 Dinoasurs has a lovely FREE Hanukkah Printables Pack.

Montessori Training shares Eight Days of Hanukkah Crafts and Snacks.

kwanzaa Collage

Kwanzaa is an African-American holiday that lasts one week. It honors African heritage, and it usually starts in December and ends in January.

Here are three great posts with information and ideas for crafts and activities:
