Welcome to the Hip Homeschool Hop!
Favs from last week:
Did you see these posts? We loved them! Here’s a few of our favorites from last week:
Team Member Liz loved The Most Important Step in Getting Your Child Ready to Read
Liz says, “I loved these tips on how to prep your little ones to read. I use the same steps and it’s worked for two of my boys. Start the love of reading EARLY!”
Trish says, “I love the idea of using these as a topic of discussion at the table but I also think these would be fabulous writing prompts too! Maybe both, the children write about the topic and then everybody discusses at dinner time! “
Team Member Heidi was inspired by Beware of the Blob! A Video Guide to Getting Started With Geography Blobs.
She said, “I LOVE Geography Blobbing! I too read, The Core and took note of this process of using blobs to begin map drawing. Kristen does a great job of going through the process going step by step and using videos to enhance your understanding of the process.”
She said, “The image made me smile, but then the post reminded me that sometimes just accepting a label is all you need to do.”
Another favorite from this week was Learning Spanish Colors Organically. You’ll find not only a free printable for learning the colors, but also some great innovative ways that will help kids of all ages on how to learn their colors in Spanish.
So, come on, link up!
