Hip Homeschool Moms team member review…

Since you homeschool, let me ask you a question. Do your kids sometimes become discontented with being homeschooled because they are missing out on some of the traditions of public school, like let’s say…yearbooks? I know my oldest has expressed disappointment that her public school friends get to have a year book and it feels so “unfair”. I get that. So when Total Yearbooks gave me this opportunity, I jumped at it. Now I can happily say to my children that having a yearbook is no longer just for the lives of her PS friends…we can have it too! Isn’t homeschooling grand?

Total Yearbooks offers over 36 styles to homeschooling families. If you are brave, you can design your own, but if you are like me – a bit yearbook shy, you can choose from one of their many templates. You upload your pictures, choose your template, drag and drop your pictures, place your order, sit back and wait for your homeschool yearbook to arrive.  Easy, peasy people! What I found intriguing was that not only could you design one for your personal family, but if you wanted to do a fundraiser for your coop or your cover school, you could fill your book with pictures of field trips, friends, teachers etc. and then sell it to your homeschool families to raise money for any event you might need some extra cash for. The more you buy, the higher discount you receive. There are also several shipping options. I chose the free one. You can’t beat that!

Many homeschool families live on one income and need something quality without breaking the bank. There are so many choices with Total Yearbooks, that you can definitely walk away without hurting your pocket book and without sacrificing quality. After all, we want these memories of homeschooling our children to last a life time. Though the days pass quickly, and our children grow way too fast, the pictures we have keep our memories fresh and alive.

The yearbook I made has a hard cover with sturdy, stitched pages to ensure they last the years through. I chose the image wrap so that our family picture could span the front and the back. What a cool effect!

Front and Back

We incorporated our family’s mission statement throughout the book. You can be creative and design something that fits your family!

I do need to mention one more thing that impressed me with Total Yearbooks. In a world where great customer service is few and far between, their customer service was top notch!

Be sure to follow them on Twitter and Facebook.

  2. I am a newer homeschool momma who also loves to scrapbook (but am waaay behind on it!) I haven’t jumped on the digial scrapbooking wagon yet, but would love to do/have something like this that I could use as a sweet memory book of our homeschool years. I pray that my children can look back on these years and see the value in my being obedient to stay home and “train them up” and helping them to grow in their walk with the Lord. I pray that when they have children of their own they can pull books like this out and say “Look at what my momma did with us!”

  3. We’d love this! every year our co-op’s yearbook is created from scratch, and the coordinator is burned out at the end. We need help! No one is taking it on this year…

  4. I have coordinated yearbook for our homeschool community for 3 years. Just another option …
