19 Upstream Review & Giveaway {closed}

19 Upstream is a Christian T-shirt company that goes a step further by including a high quality Bible reference card that ties into the theme of each shirt, and refers you to the related Bible study on their website. They also have a blog where they post about Bible reading, verses and even some stories about their family.

I received the ladies fitted “Faith” t-shirt in charcoal. From the second I opened the package, I thought this shirt was soft and that the fit was great. I have washed it three times already and it hasn’t shrunk and still feels incredibly soft. I like to be comfortable when I am out and about but also to wear t-shirts that I think are cute. This is a high-quality shirt that I know I will get a lot of use out of.

Our family devotion last week happened to be about Rahab and the spies and the faith that she had. This week we will be finishing up the story of the fall of Jericho whose wall is represented on the “Faith” shirt. I love her story and that God choose her to be protected and ultimately be in the lineage of Jesus. It was therefore kind of fun to have this shirt on and have my 5 year old talk about how tall the walls were and that God protected her family because of the scarlet cord.

Some of the other shirts available are Forgiven, Justified, Salvation, Sanctified and Redeemed. They also have a really neat one with a guitar on it that I would love to have in plum – you should check out their website to see the cool way they designed the guitar. Each design comes in Men’s/unisex and Ladies/fitted, in a good variety of colors.

I like that they offer the Bible references and study on the site so that anyone can go and learn. Here is a quote from their site, “We encourage believers to know God’s Word, to fall in love with God’s Word, and to take God’s Word to the ends of their world and step out in faith to live the adventures God has called them to, knowing He’s working 19 miles upstream: out of sight, in advance and on their behalf!” The Bible verse they refer to as the basis for the company is Joshua 3:13 – 17. It’s nice to see a company that is offering something extra in that all their shirts are based on specific Bible verses. They also have a place on each shirt’s page where you can comment or offer up verses that you think are a good cross-reference.

  9. I really enjoyed visiting the site. I would have never found it had you not reviewed it. The shirt that I liked was the SANCTIFIED charcoal fitted large womens shirt. Very Very nice
